filling winnable content gaps

Some themes are winnable right away. We produce quality content that ranks quickly and brings in organic traffic.

ask the hard-hitting seo questions

As you look for an Costa Mesa SEO expert (or need to replace your current partner), ask the hard-hitting questions:

  • Is my structured data complete on every website page?

  • Does my schema markup adhere to character count best practices?

  • Is my header hierarchy intact on each page?

  • Does my site have a standardized URL structure in place?

  • Are my site images optimized for search?

  • Does my site have any glaring content gaps for my product or service?

  • Is my site at risk for getting flagged for duplicate content?

If these sound foreign to you, or you get blank stares from your current provider, it may be time to find a new Costa Mesa SEO expert.

Orange County Fair view from the chair lift, overlooking the entire fairgrounds in Costa Mesa - teabeeshell media

Costa Mesa sits in the heart of Orange County, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ana Mountains. From its near coastal beauty, to its bustling residential life, the city offers a wonderful blend of natural escapes and urban conveniences. The Santa Ana River, now largely paved and maintained beyond its natural form, carries melted snow from the mountains to the coast.

Costa Mesa means “mountain coast” in Spanish, a nod to the city’s placement on a plateau just a mile from the coast at its southernmost point. It was adopted after a contest in 1920, when the residents of the previous city, Harper, decided to change their hometown name. Far earlier than this community or its Spanish predecessors, Costa Mesa was home to the Tongva and Acjachemen nations for millenia. Members of Lupukngna, a Tongva village 3,000+ years old, and Genga, the joint Tongva and Acjachemen village of at least 9,500+ years old, resided on the bluffs along the Santa Ana River.

Costa Mesa is home to South Coast Plaza, a notable shopping center with impressive architecture and nearly 300 stores. Many companies have set down roots in the city, with Vans, Volcom, RVCA, Hurley, El Pollo Loco, and Wahoo’s Fish Tacos all headquartered in Costa Mesa. Each year, the city hosts the Orange County Fair, which attracts over 1 million visitors annually. From rides and carnival games, to outrageous foods and live music, it’s a multi-week event that’s a can’t-miss for locals and tourists alike.

In recent years, Costa Mesa’s food scene has blossomed. It boasts Orange County’s only Michellin starred restaurant, Taco María, a gourmet Mexican kitchen with a la carte tacos, a prix-fixe four-course dinner, and a seasonal brunch and lunch options. The names alone get the mind racing and the stomach growling. From The Crack Shack and Eat Chow, to Vaca and Meiji Seimen, the options are as eclectic as they are diverse. The shopping centers may boast the more renowned eateries, but there are endless local joints to taste across the city.

With endless options to explore, you could spend a lifetime uncovering every hidden gem. Own a local business, looking for a local SEO expert?
